It’s the question of the ages: Do animals go to heaven?
Some say no. They think only those who can choose salvation enter heaven … so heaven must be only for humans. What they fail to understand is that the human kingdom is the only one that has to choose because they are the only kingdom that sinned against God.
No other kingdom on this planet (animal, insect, or other) has to choose where they will spend eternity. Christ died for the human kingdom only … because it was the only kingdom that needed spiritual saving.
This is the very reason animal sacrifice was so important before the cross. The blood of the animals remains untainted and was the only vise precious enough to cover our sins. Ecclesiastes proves animals go to heaven just as we do – though they are guaranteed entry whereas we are not.
Ecc – As for humans, God tests them so they may see that they are like the animal kingdom. The fate of human beings is like that of animals wherein the same fate awaits them both. As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath of God; humans have no advantage over animals – that is to say – none can testify that only the human spirit rises upward while the animal spirit goes down into the earth.
