Relocation referenced in our mission means intake only of non-releasable lifetime residents in need of permanent sanctuary placement. Animals are housed separately if domestic/exotic and NOT under 72-C-0239 wildlife standards.
Nature Preserve Purpose
Sundown Inc. Nature Preserve is a haven of uncontaminated land, fresh water, and clean air dedicated to:
- Protection, enhancement, and restoration of both endangered and non-endangered species
- Fulfillment of social, economic, and educational requirements of present and future generations
- Establishment and maintenance of proper conditions allowing man and animal to co-exist in structural harmony
Educational Services
We provide adult educational classes: Importance of wildlife, pros/cons of exotic pet ownership (lifetime stewardship, NOT adoption placement), ecosystem impact, nuisance wildlife solutions and relocation services, domestic & exotic pet ownership and in-home trouble issues, pet CPR/first aid training, pet loss support groups.
Donations & Grants
Sundown Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Daily consumables and specialty one-time equipment are listed on our Wishlist. Specialty equipment uses shopping-list style – items are marked as received to prevent duplicates.
