EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS & SERVICES:

Would your child know what to do if suddenly approached by an aggressive stray dog while playing in the neighborhood? Would you? We can help with that!

Are you about to lose your beloved companion to an illness they’ve been battling and you feel overwhelmed and alone? Friends and family don’t quite understand the pain? We have loving, devoted people who can help with that, too. You are not alone.

At Sundown, we have many programs and services to offer our community. Our programs and services are geared for the individual pet owner all the way down the line to commercial establishments and more.  Be advised that while some programs and services are available year-round, others are available only during the spring and fall seasons and some are still to come and include the following:

  • CPR
  • Heimlich Maneuver
  • Chest Compressions
  • Drowning
  • Hypothermia
  • Hyperthermia
  • Poisoning
  • Induced Vomiting
  • Burns
  • Shock & Wound Therapy
  • Tourniquet Compression
  • Injected Glass/Other Sharp Objects

Some of our other services include:

  • TNR
  • Hospice
  • Rescue
  • EMR Transport
  • Pet Counseling

Please note that we are not a petting zoo. We do not pass our animals around from one (child or adult) to another to hold or cuddle, etc. We do not cater birthday or other social party functions (and do not believe that any animal should be made to endure those kinds of noisy atmospheres). We are a professional educational foundation.

We offer two types of Educational Classes:

1 – Public Education Classes – $125.00 (small group 1-7)   $150.00 (medium group 8 -15)   $175.00 +(large group 19 and over). SETTINGS: Library/Classrooms/Other (Children * Adults).

2 – Private Education Classes – $200.00 (Group Rates Vary). SETTINGS: Businesses/Industry Professionals/Other (Adults Only).

PLEASE NOTE: These classes are not designed to take the place of emergency vet care but rather to aid pet owners in the immediate assistance of an animal in distress for higher chances of survival while getting to a vet.

PLEASE BE PATIENT.  THIS PAGE UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION.
